Gini is a seasoned doula, educator, and the heart behind both The Growing Place and Bloom, which she founded to support growing families and growing birth professionals. With a deep-rooted passion for teaching, she has spent years guiding expectant parents through childbirth education, mentoring new doulas, and instructing the transformative Yoga Birth Method.
Her journey has taken her from countless birth rooms to the legendary Farm in Tennessee, where she completed midwifery assistant training under the guidance of the iconic Ina May Gaskinā€”an experience she calls both humbling and unforgettable.
When sheā€™s not supporting new families or training the next generation of birth workers, Gini enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters and expanding their cat collection, much to her family's mild exasperation.
Whether sheā€™s leading a training, answering a panicked middle-of-the-night text, or sneaking home just one more rescue cat, Gini brings wisdom, humor, and a whole lot of heart to everything she does.
